Yosemite National Park Lodging

Consider a National Park for Your Next Executive Retreat

To clear one’s head and be able to focus on issues with a fresh perspective for planning sessions, spending time out of the office can be very beneficial. When exploring your options for an executive retreat, consider the national parks for your getaway.  Many of these parks have lodging and meeting facilities to house corporate retreats that combine both business and pleasure.  When discussing retreats with my executive coaching clients, I ask them to consider:

  1. What kind of sights do they want to see? Lakes, mountains, hot springs, waterfalls, rock formations?
  2. How far are they willing to go? Cross country or In-state>
  3. What kind of activities would they like to partake in? Historical sightseeing, geological education, climbing, rafting?
  4. And lastly who is going on this trip, what kind of physical capabilities do the participants have?

A  great resource to get started is the government’s National Parks site.
